Restored/Reproduction tops?

I've been browsing the threads and I've seen a few mentions of reproduction tops. What companies sell reproduction tops/restored tops? I've been searching for a top that doesn't require me to drive halfway around the country to get. I thought I would ask about this possible avenue of getting a top just in case there was an option I didn't know about. Otherwise I'll continue the Craigslist searching.

Re: Restored/Reproduction tops?

New soft tops are available, and expensive half tops (maybe...) but for the full top, you're going to have to keep an eye on Craigs, Ebay and the parts area here. You're going to want to buy local unless one of the vendors does shows in Phoenix. Most need some work and range from free to $800 depending on shape and whether it a single or double wall top. I'd say $500 is a fair price for a 8 outa 10, single wall top.

Re: Restored/Reproduction tops?

Thanks for the information. My preference would be for a single wall for the reasons most want them - not having to take of the side panels (once I get them). I'll keep my eyes open for one. I will be using the back seat for my kids when they are older so the half top won't do me much good. A soft top is in the plans but mainly only for summer use when the hard top is off.
