North Carolina and Virginia

Just came back from a junk yard in Moyock, North Carolina (near Chesapeake Virginia). They have a 71 or 72 Chevy Long bed they just got in. Had a lot of good parts including the bed. Tailgate was straight also. Drivers floor shot in front of the door. Front fenders are shot. It has a Six in it. The name of the yard is Malbon Used Auto Parts and Glass. (757)236-18884 Virginia or (252)232-2444 North Carolina. I took the Hood latch assy, headlight buckets, and the wiper water bottle and bracket. Just a heads up to my neighbors looking for parts. You can also get on the net at www.usedautopartsva.com.

Another yard

Last summer I went out to a place called Ricks used pickup parts in Suffolk off of highway 58. He had alot of trucks that were mostly picked over. If the sun comes out today, I am going to head out there for a looksee for my new 67 Project. I will keep you posted. Tell me what to look for and I will see. Wootdog

Wootdog, I am the other culprit that relieved that truck of some various small parts. That londbed on that truck seemed to be in pretty decent shape. I live down here in South Mills so if you get any more leads please pass them on.
Thx Steve

Wootdog,
I went there last week and he has a decent burb in there that has a complete front 71-72 I think, but he has a blazer that has the top off of it and there are buckets in it. I didn't take a real close look at them but if you stumble on them would you let me know if you think they are worth rebuilding. other than that he has about two or three others with various parts, but not sure what you are looking for.

windshield wipers, seats, armrests, you name it. The truck's interior is gutted. My brother wanted to make it a show truck and ran out of time and money. As a matter of fact the seat out of it is in my 68 short wide. Ideally I would like to put a set of Fiero buckets in it. Wootdog
