Re: pics of GMCs

Even though i'm a chevy fan first and foremost and always have been and always will be, i think the GMC front end styling blows away chevy's.

i noticed that some of the grills are chromed while some are painted; Was the chrome an option or were some yrs painted and some yrs chromed?

Thats what I'm trying to find out too.
I've got a 72 GMC and it has that Black Painted Insert.
I believe the CHROME GRILL's were avaliable in 71?
I need a new grill anyway, or I'd take mine off and remeove the Black paint myself.

Anybody? Will the 70/71 Grills interchange with a 72???
