Chrome Divider Strip
I am tearing down a cab to get ready for the blaster and I am wondering, "What is the proper/easiest way to remove the Chrome Divider Strip on the back of the cab"? I am hopeing to reuse this piece if possible. If unable to, where would I be able to pick up a new one?

Re: Chrome Divider Strip
Yes, a gentle prying will get it off. This is one of the easiest mouldings to get off, actually.

Re: Chrome Divider Strip
You can use a small pick with a 90 degree bend to slide the plastic clips. They are slotted and remove easily.

Re: Chrome Divider Strip
pretty easy to remove. Its actually stainless. If you want to polish it fast get yourself a Norton BEAR-TEX Wheel.
We have reconditioned ones if yours is too bad. Last edited by mbgmike; 05-06-2010 at 05:02 PM. |
