Blazer...new gauges and pedals
Been busy with the Blazer... installed new set of Tach/Vac gauges I love them. I even adjusted the vacuum gauge with a new Autogage vacuum gauge. Now the dreaded empty pod has been filled, I can sleep better
I even replaced my manual pedals, it seems the bushing was worn out on the clutch pedal and it was "lazy" to the left side. It always worked well but looked crooked. Million dollar question... "How do you replace the entire clutch/pedal assy without removing the steering column?" I did not want to remove my factory tilt steering I installed 6 months ago. It was a PITA but its possible. Enjoy pics and one more of my thumb casualty of the job Forgive the thumb pic if its too "gruesome"

Re: Blazer...new gauges and pedals
BTW also installed the 80lb oil gauge, it made a difference. Adding under dash courtesy lights and glove box door light. I'm running out of accessories to install

Re: Blazer...new gauges and pedals
Sounds like it's time to dive into a different project.
Everything looks great. The open "pod" has always bothered me as well, glad you found a solution.

Re: Blazer...new gauges and pedals
Hope you are feeling better Richard. Looks like you are ready for a cruise to the hill country. I'm thinking Fredericksberg or Kerrville?
