Instrument panel-Help!

If a lite bulb is out will the ammeter or temp guage not work? Also, does the wire wound resistor go on the temp or ammeter guage? Does it go- insulator-printed circuit-nut-resistor-nut?
Thanx.

O.K. Got the guages set right(I think). Had the resistor running horiz. instead of vertical on the temp. guage. But lights still screwy! If you mix up the directional signal bulbs with the regular bulbs will this cause flaky instument lite problems?

Finally. Apparently theres another ground needed besides the one in the wiring harness, which on my instrument cluster is provided by .....the oil line to the oil pressure gauge. I'm tired.
