Found by accident that PicNPull was half price this weekend. Found a front bumper and brackets. And i finally touched base with a guy that had a front sway bar for me. 1.25" sway bar, if the wife tells me again that it feels like the truck leans in the corners I'll know for sure that she's falling off her rocker

Nothing truck related this time. Lots of cook outs and hamburgers galore. Family time is great.

We went for a family ride in the crew cab, the kids really love it. I did vacuum the crew cab and my wife vacuumed the Suburban, but no actual work... which is nice.

Finally got around to working on the ugly truck....
Found a good fender and core support to replace the rusty ones at local wrecking yard....
Still need shocks and new front springs before it's drivable.

I got out to the pull n save yard here and found some suburban buckets and console for the work truck, should be able to get them in this week sometime.

Sunday/Monday Gerald (drivewaydreams) came down and we grilled some burgers, drank some beers, hung out with the families and today we got the fenders swapped on the blazer.

Re: Whad did you get done 5/31/10 Memorial Day Edition

Had a nice relaxing weekend. My wife, daughters, and some of their friends had a "girls weekend" getaway at Smith Mountain Lake in southwest Virginia. They had a great time and i was able to pretty much be lazy all weekend.

Installed my new 4 core radiator, hooked up my power steering, got the battery box bolted in, fired it up a few times. I am so close to driving it I can almost taste it!

Re: Whad did you get done 5/31/10 Memorial Day Edition

I welded up the stake holes and bed rail holes on the 84. I took my two year old for a ride in daddy's old truck on Saturday and Sunday. She makes me smile and laugh when she rides in that old beater. Gotta love kids! I tried out my new Texas style smoker on Memorial Day and it worked great. The chickens were sooo gooood!

Found that clunk in the front end while cleaning under the front, the motor mounts were shot. Removed them and picked up a new set today. I will make it easier cleaning the frame with them removed.

I tore apart the 062 vortec heads I picked up a while back. They are in great shape. I also helped my buddy to get his block for his 383 build to the machine shop.

I bought a 2010 Crew Cab Silverado. I will post some pics later when i get some good ones.
