Complete floor pan anyone?

Has anyone used the new complete floorpan on their blazer? Would it even work? My floor is going to need some serious welding and it might be more cost effective to buy the whole thing instead.....anyone?

I'm talking about the cab section of the blazer (the front half where the driver and passenger sit)

Oh, I believe the answer is yes for that as well. I don't know if it goes all the way back to the step up or not.

The full floor truck cab patches are all 2wd, so if you have a 4x4 you'll have to cut out the transmission opening.

Search the build threads for one, or someone may stop in with more knowledge on who has used one.

I was wondering about this as well? My floors are not to bad in my 72 k5 but i have yet to cut in to them to see how bad they are! My welding skills are beginner level and i dont have the equipment to brace the front of the tub when the old floor section is completly removed. The new complete floor pan includes all the floor supports and bracing and i'm not ready to cut my truck in half. Might want to check with some one who is a restoration guru.

I made a Jimmy body from a pickup cab and the floors are the same for the most part. The biggest challenge is creating the rear flange. The metal needs to be bent about 90 degrees from the position it is in for the pickup floor.

im trying to do the same thing right now
i have a cab donor already i just need to start cutting
do you have a tutorial on how u did your cuts, measurement ect...?
or more pictures

Basically have your existing Blazer or Jimmy body next to the donor and take all the measurements off of it. To make the bend on the back be generous when trimming the back off the cab. Use a piece of thick steel and clamp it to the floor and bend the sheet metal against that. That will give you a nice straight bend. Trim the excess off once the bend is done. I will see if I can dig up some more pics tomorrow, but those are the best ones.

Hats off to the serious fabrication skills. It seems like using the complete truck cab would be an option as well. Basically making it look like a permanent half cab K5 and fabricating a bed with what's left.
