sticker behind seat ?
i saw this a wile ago but never thought much of it. are this common . my truck is a '65 c20

I don't know if it is exactly 'common' but many trucks had the Detroit Lockers installed in the HO52 rear differentials of the C20's in these years. My '66 C20 has the Detroit Locker in it.

does the "ks-10" stand for the gear ratio?, or what ratio would be in a 3/4 ton chev, I know of a 61, and a 65 that i can get, they are both ks-10

is the H052 just another name for Eaton rear end or are they completely different. from what i seen online i thought the rear end on my truck was an eaton, never heard of H052. -thanks for your replies |

HO52 and HO72 were models of the eaton axle. they both used a similar center section and parts can swap between them. The No spin was the posi option for those eatons.

I believe the HO72 has an extra bolt hole on the front of the pumpkin.

HO52= 5200lb capacity 20 series, HO72= 7200lb capacity 30 series.1965 C 20's no spins were only available on 4.57 ratios. The No Spin is notorious for wiping out pinion shafts and bearings due to racheting up on sharp turns.
