Transmission Linkage Arm
Hello to all
I have a 72 C10 with a Auto Trans. I have had it overhauled and come to a stop. The springs on the Transmission Linkage Arm are wore out. Does anyone know where I can pick them up? I tried the local autoparts and no cigar. Any Help greatly Apprecitiated Lewis

TRY A GOOD NAPA STORE , OR ANY DECENT AUTO PARTS STORE THAT SELLS DORMAN FASTENERS.(I'VE GOT THEM THERE) JUST TAKE YOUR LINKAGE WITH YOU & FIND ONE THE RIGHT DIAMETER & CUT TO THE LENGTH YOU NEED.

Our local Ace Hardware store carries a similar spring in their spring collection.

Thanks to everyone who replied back. I have searched with LMC and Brothers with no prevail on the parts. I will keep looking. Any one out there who knows who carries them please pass it on

I think you're missing the point.. I don't know of anyone who stocks that simple 40 year old, redally available 75 cent part.

I would not hold my breath that someone will shelf the small springs and bolts required to keep the linkage arm in place. As a matter of fact, anything and everything is being reproduced. I just like to use the right parts instead of going to a hardware store to search if I dont have to. I know alot of C10 owners who prefer a aftermarket Tachometer to the Factory One and install it on the instrument panel by custom fitting it. The spring is included with the shift linkage arm (part #32-4830). I had to buy a new arm because mine was completely wore out and the spring, washer, and retaining cotter pin were included. But I don't think the spring is available seperately. My local Ace Hardware has all the fasteners and springs I could ever want. Gary
