Bucket Seats for 67

This topic may have been discussed in an earlier thread, If so I apoligise.
I am thinking about converting my 67 with a bench seat into buckets w a console. I was wondering if factory buckets from later model chevys would work? If so, what year works the best as far as fit (doing as little modification as possible) and looks.

Re: Bucket Seats for 67

im slapping in a set of 2005 siverado buckets and center bucket/seat as we speak, I wasnt originally but my 3 year old loves the truck (the rumble anyways) and I cant have her in a truck with an all metal dash and only a lapbelt holding the carseat. (intigrated shoulder belts in the new seats. If you go this route be sure to construct a plate for the underside of the cab to bolt the seats onto for added strength

Re: Bucket Seats for 67

Seats are out of a 2002 Bonneville. They are very "thick". Seats out of a new pickup look almost the same but would fit better giving more room between seats and steering wheel. I slipped the steering column a couple of inched to get more room or it would have been very tight.

Re: Bucket Seats for 67

I've got a split 60/40 bench in mine from a late 90's Tahoe or Silverado. I like them, and they look pretty good too. Also has power drivers seat but the range of adjustment is limited. I can post pics tomorrow.
