get a good set of cut to fit wires such as taylor or msd they are excellent wires last a long time and you wont have an extra foot of wire hanging

Ever seen Champion Truck Plug Wires? Really good wires and check out the black ceramic boots---can't burn them! I run them on BB & SB.

For something non-fancy, Pep Boys has gray spiral-core wires for $35

Taylor Spiro Pros. Get the ready to runs for a 72 small block truck if you have a socket cap distributor. Get 75 Corvette if you have GM HEI. Route underneath the manifolds. If you have log manifolds, won't work.

Just about any auto parts can order them. If they can get Champion plugs, that's where they get the wires too. I would also try some of the discount places like Summit & Jegs.

MSD forever
My MSD 8mm custom fit sprialcores from summit are awesome. I installed them in '95 & they STILL have only 50oms of resistsnce! & zero radio interference to boot. a wire that lasts 8 years in a daily driver thats still has almost no resistance wins any wire test in my book. jmtc

I run "cut to fit" MSD 8.5 mm wires. It takes a while to figure out how to cut and strip the ends for the distributor side, but once you get it then it goes fast. I'll never go back to stock wires.
You can get the kit at Summit Racing for $40-$50. It comes with the wires, the ends, the boots, and a measuring/crimping tool to use in your vice, and allows you to strip the wires with a construction knife.
