Static drop?

Air suspension?

What kind of budget are you working with?

blocks and/or drop springs for coil suspension

blocks and/or a leaf removed for leaf suspension

air bags and a slew of dohickys for air ride

Flip kit first before there's a need for blocks.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: How would i lower the rear end of my1969 c-10 step side

Look through the various dropped trucks threads from this web-site using this feature http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/search.php.

Pick the amount of drop you like.
Buy rear drop coils (or coils & lowering blocks) that equal the amount.
Install & enjoy.

ECE has a section of their web site dedicated to various drop amounts....
