ign wire on skip white

Hello Me and a friend did some work on my 72 and i got a skip white dizzy and i took off the cap and disconnected the wire from the coil and pulled the stock points, got the s.w. dizzy in and went to run the ing wire to my interior fuse box. but honestly i dont know where the ing wire is to be connected on the dizzy the instructions said that the stock hei plugs into the pigtail on the dizzy( i maybe misunderstanding this) so my question is where is the ing wire plug into the dizzy cause there is 2 spades under the batt. portion of the super coil, can anyone clarify??

should be the one on the right, the left is for TACH. if you have the solid red SW dizzy, it should have tach, and batt on the top of the coil pack, let me know if you need pics.

yea i have the red SW dizzy so the pigtail on the distributor plugs into the coil and the ing wire uses a female connector to the right side of the "other space for connectors" if this is right im doin doughnuts in my truck tomorrow. sry for the ignorance wiring is my downfall

yes, the black plug plugs into the coil (closest to the dizzy) the two front spades are Tach (left side) BATT (12v keyed power source)

They are referring to you being able to change the weights/springs to adjust timing advance etc. see pic below. The allen wrench is for the oil gear on the end of the dizzy, if i remember correctly that has an allen screw holding the gear on....

Re: ign wire on skip white

The vacuum canister is adjustable with that allen wrench. Take the vac hose off, insert the allen wrench into the metal tube hole. Wiggle it around until the wrench seats. Turn left or right to adjust the maximum vacuum advance.

You will have to play with it, check, play with it, check.

Note: Pulling the vac hose off while vacuum is applied is a good way to pop the rubber diaphragm inside the canister.
