Phantom wiper problem solved
My wipers would cycle a few times evey time I turned on the ignition. I changed out the wiper delay module, and the problem went away. Just wish I would have known that in the begining.
Before changing out the column switch. Oh well another lesson.

Jon it's located behind the dash bezel and above the column. It's in all that mess of wires usually near the bottom. Look up at http://www.chevyduty.com and look up part numbers 67-682, 67-683, 67-684 for pics off the modules. Just find the right one for you and replace.

Chris,
You have a newer model with the wiper switch on the turn signal switch. The modules are different. Jon, If yours is an 82 like mine and your intermittent switch is on the dash, the module plugs directly into the back side of the wiper switch. GM still carries new modules but they are a bit pricey. When mine went bad, I removed both the intermittent switch and module and replaced it with a stock non-intermittent switch. The plug is the same and it plugs right into the stock non-intermittent switch.
