? about frame work...

my chassis has the usual old rusty truck pitting in the frame (nothing rusted through).

can I fill those pits in with body filler? will it stay in there if I do? and is there a product that works 'better' for it?

Use a high build primer before painting, if its so heavily pitted that even this type primer won't work then its body glazing putty or a bondo.

I thought about the high build primer, but the pits are pretty wide. I guess it's bondo time!

ugh... I hate bondo.

thanks for the reply Paul.
