Rotor Thickness?

any way I can tell how thick my rotors are without having to actually measure them on my 84? i was looking western chassis spindes and i need to know.

I was told if you can insert you index finger freely into one of the rotor slots, its a 1.25 rotor. I think though, 84's had 1.00 rotors unless it had the heavy duty package.
