My latest master shower project
Attachment 616090I tend to tell long stories, so I will just say this is my latest project for some customers of mine. They bought a house with a one piece fiberglass tub that was cracked about 8 inches long next to the drain so I tore it out and have been slowly working on it as time permits... some of these pics are cell phone pics
I presloped the floor for the shower pan.. I replaced the shower valve.. and the shower head had to go up about 16"

Re: My latest master shower project
A little corner bench added for comfort... I built it with cinder block, and then mudded it nice and plumb on the face and sloped in towards the shower slightly...
The gravel my son and I gathered up is to prevent the weep holes in the upper portion of the 2 pc drain from clogging...

Re: My latest master shower project
Started the walls high enough to get around the bench... I forgot my camera today but I did manage to get the walls up to above the shower valve, where I put in some glass tile border about 3" high. Then it will have a 12x12 sheet of the same glass tile set diagonally inside the 4 rows of 6x6 tile, with another band of the 3" glass tile... I will be updating in about 1 week when I get back to that project...

Re: My latest master shower project
As much as I didnt want to work today, I went to the swap meet this morning and then I got the top section set, and the bench face with the mosaic...
After all this work on a Sunday, only one of these cold hand grenades will relax me

Thanks Alot ! My wife wants this same shower done now
Got it grouted yesterday evening With Antique White sanded grout. It looks darker than it will be because it is still wet in the pictures.
