How bad do you think this is? I did not have the camera at the shop to get pics of the internals.

Is the broken piece part of the spider pin? The only time I have ever seen one of those break was on a mini-spool. How does the case look where the pin goes into it?

The pin goes down the middle but I have no idea what it is called. I have never had an issue with any of my 12 bolts so I have zero experience knowing what happened here.

It looks like the spider gear set up is what broke. Does this usually damage other parts?

Well there could be other damage, depending on where some of the metal bits went. Also, you need to inspect the bores in the differential case where the pin goes through.

Anyone know of a reputable driveline shop in the Tyler, TX area? I have one I have used in the past but it is about 80 miles from me.
