Dually Fenders

hey guys, log time since I been here:

You last visited: 11-08-2006 at 08:24 AM

Been a member since, I don't know, 2002-2003, maybe longer, came here a long time ago, can't believe my account still worked! Woo-hoo!

Anyway, I see the forum has grown alot, that's really good news!

I have a project that I need some help locating parts.

1982 Chevy Crew Cab Dually 2wd. Need new Dually fenders . Tire blew, took out the fender. Purchased the truck this way. Came with a 454/4 speed manual, currently has a 350 in it, got a nice 454 (425hp or maybe even more, not sure yet) for it. Gonna be dropping that in soon so I can haul stuff better, plus, it just aint right without the 454 in it!

Let me know best vendor to get a dually fender for it.
Thanks! Hope to spend more time here and post pics of truck!

Thanks for the links. I had did some searching around already and found that duallyfendersusa deal. They in Houston, which I am right outside of Houston, Fenders are $450 pair. Kinda steep, but they are supposed to be high grade aftermarket fiberglass stuff, better than the OEM. If I cannot find some OEM or if I decide to go flatbed on it, I will just have to bite the bullet and get those for $450. Not too bad really, if they are better than OEM, meaning if you blow a tire it won't necessarily rip the fender to shreds like the OEM fenders that are on it now, 1 is completely demolished and the other is pretty bad.

The truck is a 1982, but it has a 1991 style front end on it, and looks like suburban interior, power everything. Needs ALOT of TLC, and probably a new paint job, looks like a Maaco or Earl Schiebs (sp?) special. Not thick at all, very thin, not sanded properly, and peeling off in spots, and it's Black so it really shows. So I got my work cut out for me. Only thing is I am really just buying it for a good 1 ton truck to haul hay and what not with, but I am sure I will get to making it a nice truck in the process. I got tons and tons of spare parts for it, I must have 6 other trucks/suburbans 73-87 around here for parts (sitting in the pasture out back, LOL, been collecting over the years) but I have 0 dually fenders...
