Trip to the Beach this weekend!!!
Well I guess I got a wild hair.... and decided to take a drive to the beach. Port Aransas is about 170 miles from my house and clearly the longest road trip Ol' Yeller has been on. I decided late Friday night that I would go to the beach and meet my brother BLIZZ. I woke up early Saturday morning and changed the oil, got the ice chest and a change of clothes and hit the road. I really was anxious to test the Blazer in the sand. It held up great, and I got a lot of compliments and visitors. Here's a couple of pics. Thanks for looking.

Re: Trip to the Beach this weekend!!!
Nice, Mario. I just got back from the beach Monday. But I don't think my Jimmy would have made the 2400 mile round trip to Miami beach. Plus you can't actually drive on the beach there, and there's no way I'm gonna valet my Jimmy just to sit on the beach in a lounge chair.
We usually get down to Port A every year, except this one. Just wanted a change I guess. That pic of the big bridge over to Mustang Island looks just like the one over to Key Biscayne where we stayed this past weekend. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton. Here's a pic of one of the nicer cars at our hotel my son, Evan, drooled over (I did too a little)

Re: Trip to the Beach this weekend!!!
Easy there smarty...that's my Tahoe. I would have thought that my sig would have given it away, I guess I wasn't obvious enough. I'll have to spell it out next time or use the <sarcasm> switch.

Re: Trip to the Beach this weekend!!!
No offense taken. I hope so too. It will if I hang onto it, otherwise it's out of my control.
