Sterring Wheel removal
How are you guys getting your wheels off the sterring columns? I have a puller I used to remove 69 camaro wheels but it doesn't seem to fit the truck sterring wheels.

Re: Sterring Wheel removal
I use one of those generic universal pullers that you use for harmonic balancers and things like steering wheels.

Re: Sterring Wheel removal
Darn, at 200 lbs and a frameing hammer I still can't get the SOB off. At this point the socket can bearly get back on the nut. I am going at it one more time its either coming off or the column will not be usalble!

Re: Sterring Wheel removal
OK. its off. I used a larger socket with a nut in it and placed it over the threaded nut on the column and gave it a full swing with the hammer. Thanks for the help guys!!!
