Re: longhorn options

They're longer, not taller.....

Military folks frequently are able to procure items and use them in a way that is not the original usage.

But, someone with a Longhorn who was hauling a cab-over camper, pulling a camper or whatever may be like that, may have wanted one to know at what altitude they were as they traveled through the mountains...for instance.

But, I don't recall seen an altimeter listed as an option in any of my '69 dealer books.

Re: longhorn options

I have not seen any, but there are allot of after marker accesories in Longhorns, like electrical hook ups and brace brackets and so on. One that I have found and still have is a in bed spare tire mount. Found it on a C/30 Longhorn out of El Centro Cali.

Re: longhorn options

the altimeter is not a stock item... not stock in a GM car/truck anywyas.
The in bed spare... that IS a stock piece. Or it was an avalible option anywyas.
