LMC Electric Fan
I'm looking to upgrade to an electric fan and would like to buy something in a kit. Does anyone have any experience with the LMC electric fans? Its an 8 blade, 16" for $119.95, the mounting hardware for $49.95 and an adjustable thermostat for $24.95. Seems like a good deal to me, any suggestions?

Re: LMC Electric Fan
it needs to be shrouded or you may not get enough cooling. You definitely won't if you have A/C.

Re: LMC Electric Fan
me and a couple friends kinda like using ford focus ( i know ford) dual electric fans on our t type turbo regals. i ran a set on my monte carlo ss for a long time. you can get the electric thermostats for them at any parts store. the only problem ive had is not having a good enough ground so i think i burnt the thermostat and the relay on the fans. i can still jump the fans manually by putting power to them tho.....idk just an idea that might be cheaper.the fans are shrouded and you 'll have to make mounting brakets

Re: LMC Electric Fan
I got dual electric fans out of an Altima for $40 from the junk yard and they are a perfect fit, 10 minute install. Added an electronic thermostat for $25 and all set, works great.

Re: LMC Electric Fan
Look up "another cheap electric fan" in the archives. This is what I did. The fan was 50 bucks brand new, and fits right in the opening of the shroud. a 20 dollar adjustable thermostat from auto zone and your hooked up
