Wheel Spacers
I was going to put 1 1/4" wheel spacers on the back of my C20 so they rears are even with the fronts. Having never used them, how do they work? Won't the lug studs stick out too far? Do you have to cut them off? Just curious...

Re: Wheel Spacers
Most quality spacers will bolt to your existing lugs with nuts and then will have it's own studs that will be attached to the spacer. Many of my friends have used the spidertrax spacers on their jeeps and they are top notch quality. But if you are only needing a 1/4 inch or so you can't do the bolt on style. Hopefully some of that made sense.

Re: Wheel Spacers
I'm planning on 1 and 1/4 inch. It is the studs on my axle right now I'm worried about. I guess if they are less than 1 1/4" I am fine but they seem longer. Thanks for the reply

Re: Wheel Spacers
I have been running spacers on the rear of My 70 4x4 for over a year for that same reason. No problems

Re: Wheel Spacers
So your spacer was 1 inch and it fit fine? That's good news. I'll go ahead and get the spacers then. Thanks!

Re: Wheel Spacers
The front end track was widened on 71's and 72's because of the disc brakes.
