Question AM/FM stereo/CB radio?

Has anyone ever heard of such an animal for our trucks? A buddy of mine stopped by yesterday, and gave me one. Said he thought it would fit my truck? After taking some measurements, it would fit. Not trying to sell, just trying to find out what year it is, and what it went in? Will try and get pics later.

Re: AM/FM stereo/CB radio?

My in-laws had one from the factory in their early 80's caddy.
It had a tri-band power antenna that covered all of the radio's needs.
I remember it worked OK... I think the antenna was nowhere near optimal for good cb use.

Question Re: AM/FM stereo/CB radio?

Not sure if I would put it in my truck? Does anyone even use CB's anymore?

If the truckers don't use 'em, who would? Still have my old KBAM9019 call sign. Radios were sold years ago.....

Re: AM/FM stereo/CB radio?

Mostly Diesel trucks in the 70's and 80's had them. Option though.

I had one a while back.
