I RECENTLY BOUGHT THIS TRUCK FOR A CHASSIS SWAP UNDER A 1955 1st series CHEVY PICKUP. THE BODY IS JUST TOO NICE TO JUST HAUL IT TO THE SCRAPPER, SO HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO REALLY SPIFF UP YOUR OLD S10!

***BODY AND TITLE ONLY***

NO MOTOR, TRANSMISSION, WIRING HARNESS, BRAKE BOOSTER ASSY, BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY
STEERING COLUMN, CARPET, HEADLINER CARPET OR SEATS.

CHASSIS RELATED ITEMS SUCH AS THE FRONT SUSPENSION, DRIVE SHAFT, BRAKES, ETC IS NOT FOR SALE.

IT APPEARS THAT MOST OF BODY WORK HAS BEEN DONE, IT IS STRAIGHT AND PRIMED WITH VERY LITTLE BODY FILLER AND NO RUST, EVEN THE FLOORBOARDS.
READY FOR PAINT WITH MINIMUM FINISH WORK.
HAS REAR ROLL PAN.
FRONT GRILLE IS ROUGH.

Steve, my brother has an S10 dragster that he wants to put back on the street. Would be interested in the headlight assemblies, front blinker assemblies, taillight assemblies, and wipers including motor, linkage, etc.

Here are some more photos. The body is really clean. I have not gone over it with a magnet to determine if ther is any filler, or how much, but it appears to me that the PO did a decent job on the bodywork (if any) so far. There is one quarter sized hole in the driver side floorboard. From the surface rust inside, it appears that water is (or was) getting in somewhere. It makes me wonder where, as the windshield and all around it is in perfect shape. this truck body is in such good shape, it makeds me think I should just drop an engine in it and go, but it doesn't look nearly as cool as the 55 1st series body I have for the chassis....

There are THREE reasons why I don't go ahead and drop an engine in this truck and drive it:

1. I already have four cars (I have an HHR, Chevy 3/4 ton x-cab, 79 Malibu and the wife has a Prius) that I am paying insurance and upkeep on, and there is only my wife and I.

2. We have a baby on the way, I need the money.

3. NO TIME FOR ANOTHER PROJECT!!!

Radiator support, hood and bed sold localy. Cab doors inner and outer fenders still available for a while, but it will be going to the scrap yard soon, title and all.
