Need some help with shocks please!

I know this has probably been asked but I searched and couldnt find exaxtly what I need. Im going to be running a 4in drop in the front (3in spindles and 1in lowering coils) and a DJM flip kit in the rear. How do I know what length shocks I need? Can someone tell me what to run since I bought the truck completely torn apart I dont have any stock measurements to go off. Thanks! Oh and what brand you would recommend!

I'm thinking stock shocks will be fine with what you're doing. The spindles won't affect the shocks and a 1" coil shouldn't make that much difference.

Re: Need some help with shocks please!

Shock extenders should be all you need for the rear, unless you plan to use blocks too.

Re: Need some help with shocks please!

Sorry, I'm still having a hard time typing on my Blackberry. LOL.

Unless you use lowering blocks the stock shocks along with extenders should be OK. You could opt for some "Lowering shocks" but I have zero experience with them. Hopefully someone else will chime in and offer more information.

Re: Need some help with shocks please!

i have this drop on my truck. use stock size ones upfront and use nitro drop 2 shocks out back and you dont have to use the shock extenders at all.

ill get pics of the shocks later tonight

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
