Door panels

Hey guys, starting the planning for redoing my K20 (again), fix some things that I dont like or compromises I made since it was my DD for 9years. Now that I have another truck, I can make this one that much nicer.

Anyway, planning for the interior right now, sick of the tan, going to a black/gray and started looking at door panels. Mine are good, could cover them in vinyl/leather, etc, but was wanting some aftermarket/custom looking panels.

I noticed that roddoors has gone out of business and as far as I know they are the only ones who made any 'custom' panels for these trucks. Does anybody know of anyone else making some? I didnt particularly care for the ones roddoors made, something about how the handle was grafted in I didnt like, but always figured I could change them a little.

Thanks guys.

Re: Door panels

thanks fellas...

Chris, I can do something custom if you'd like...the only problem with a custom door panel on these trucks is the door panel has a hump in it that is hidden by the factory door panel...you can remove the hump (cut it on one side, lay it down, and tack it back down flat) and I can make you a flat full length door panel and we could do some custom designs, a custom armrest/door pull, but you'd still have to deal with the inside door handle...it actually sticks out farther than normal would because the door panel comes out so far to cover that hump...if you want I'll pm you my number and we can talk more about this...thanks

Re: Door panels

My friend had a factory door panel that had no arm rest... I will search the external later on this weekend for it.
