Seat Back stop bolts
Hey all, another dumb question.
Trying to run wiring for dome light. Where does it run? Service Manual says to "remove seat back stop bolts and lean seat back forward". What am I looking for that I'm not seeing?? |

Re: Seat Back stop bolts
It runs it the gutter between the inner and outer rocker with the fuel tank sending unit wire, then it goes up between the 2 walls of the cab to where it needs to go.

Re: Seat Back stop bolts
if you have a nice seat, then the vinal will rip if you flip it forward.

Re: Seat Back stop bolts
It is probably talking about these bolts, but the are not really meant to be removed. I agree it will rip the vinyl if you can even get to the bolts. If the seat is in the way I would rather unbolt it from the floor.

Re: Seat Back stop bolts
Thanks for the heads-up.
. That's about what I figured. Need to clean the 10 years of farm crud from under there anyway. . More dumb luck, truck had a funky little antenna with what looks like a 10 coil spring in the middle. Lifted the cowl and found the whole lead with a seal that the PO had never even threaded thru the existing hole. Brand New! Punched it thru and sealed it. If it works, I'm good to go. Also made a wood cover plate for my cut dash and a mount for a RetroSound Dual Voil Coil speaker. (PICS TO FOLLOW) It's all I need for what little I actually listen to the radio.
