Hey 292 guys-I have a motor mount question
I have been searching for the elusive right side motor mount tower, and I found a truck in a junkyard with a 292, but it's a K. So the question is, Are the towers the same between the 2WD and 4WD? I know that the crossmember is different. Anyone have a good picture of these? If it works out, I'm gonna buy the whole motor. Never hurts to have a spare.
Thanks.

Re: Hey 292 guys-I have a motor mount question
should be the same, the only difference between the crossmembers is more for differential clearance, then for motor replacement. im sure someone can re verify or correct me.

Re: Hey 292 guys-I have a motor mount question
As I remember it, the 4WD bracket is different from the 2WD because it bolts only to the frame rail, not the crossmember.
