Re: New member from Pearland, Texas
Very nice truck neighbor! I also live in Pearland (over by the ninth grade center & natotorium). I hope you plan on taking your GMC to the cruise night at Home Depot. I am planning to have my 72' burb out there this Friday.

Re: New member from Pearland, Texas
Nice looking truck! Welcome to the board from east TN!
Are you going to convert to disc brakes also? I'm assuming it still has 6-lug drum brakes. If so, do you plan to swap to 5-lug or keep it 6-lug?

thanks everyone for the welcome to the forum..the wheels are eagle alloy (came with truck when purchased, dont like them though), the truck has drum brakes, 6 lug...not really planning to convert anytime soon unless i go with the all famous ECE 4/6 drop w/disc conversion..i got 2in drop spring and shackles ordered right now with outback truck parts in spring,tx.... keep ya updated with interior pics.

Re: New member from Pearland, Texas
Great looking SWB truck!
I installed a 4.5/6" drop on my '69 and wouldn't go with any other static drop; also kept the 6-lug setup as well. Can't wait to see what you can do with the project!
