Is that wood inlay on your bed, wood bed sides with the steel stake pockets, or just paint? Sweet looking truck BTW!

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
My '53 as it is right now.
Some day I'd like it to sit like this. This is PS by 1LoC10 (thanks man) For right now, the plan is to take off the monoleafs and replace it with a dropped axle with a stock leafs. Maybe get taller tires for front. I'd get the same size that on the rear.

Sorry just saw this . The bed is a kit from Pros Pick ,its a Chevy , I raised the bed 3" with the bed up it stops the cab from looking so tall from the back . The fenders are in the stock location .

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Well, Since the picture, it has been going thru a "closer to stock" transformation. Back in 1996 I put it on a '87 K-10 chassis with a 6" suspension lift. It rides on a Dana 60 front and 14 bolt 10.5" rear axles. Fuel injected 454 BBC, Turbo 400 and NP 208 transfer case. Over the last few weeks, I've been putting it back on the stock '59 frame and retro fitted all the above running gear on the original frame. 32" BFG Mud TAs on 16" steel wheels now. I am gettin' too old to climb up in a lifted truck so now it sits kinda like an original NAPCO. I'll try and post more pics later.
