sun visors

will sun visors from a '76 Chevy pu fit these trucks? Really only car about the visor part. My arms are fine.

Yes. Use the bracket from the original......slide the old visor off the rod and slide the new ones on. I had to work like crazy to get mine to slide off, but eventually, they'll come off. Bought a set of 76 visors at a swap meet for $2. Much cheaper than reupholstering the originals.

I'm not sure why someone would tear apart a perfectly good truck either, but to each his own.

There are 2 "fits" to consider; First, the size of the visor, Second, the size of the rod. I would venture to guess that the diameter of the rod was standard across all GM lines for the majority of the 60s and 70s. I guess its up to the individual's taste regarding length and width of whatever sun visor they decide to use.
