Re: GEN III C10 Full Air ride build
What year are your headers for? Are they for the newer trucks with the 4.8/5.3/6.0 motors or for our year?

Re: GEN III C10 Full Air ride build
The headers are for the 4.8/5.3l/6.0 they are pacesetter headers. bought them off texas speed and performance. had to do alot of frame rail notching to make them fit.

Re: GEN III C10 Full Air ride build
I finally had enough time to finish the harness and route it to all the sensors and wire loom it! The engine harness is ready and just fired her up today for the first time!!! Sounds awesome with the big cam. Of course the video doesnt do it justice. At first I couldnt get oil pressure for the life of me so I went thought it might be the pick up tube being pinched but changed it and it wasnt it then went to my last resort which was change the oil pump but after I did that it still was the same no pressure! This whole time I was turning the engine over with the starter and no spark plugs to build pressure but it wasnt enought so I ended up pooring oil down the oil sensor hole and then went to actually start it and it had oil pressure within 3 seconds!! Thank god. So all I had to do was prime it through the oils sensor hole!! Hope you guys like it.

What is even funnier is that I grew up in Killarney....lol. Cool. I don't know the current owners but yeah, I'm only an hour away from there now. Do you ever come up here?

Re: GEN III C10 Full Air ride build
Man I haven't posted on my own build thread forever! Well heres an update. I have been driving my truck breaking her in for a dyno tune which should be happening soon. Also been making sure everything is running good and it is. Ran into a weird noise coming from tranny, squealing sound, which 300 bucks later found out it was just my stupid crank case vent tubes routed wrong. Pulled tranny and had a new TC sent cause thought it might have been a spun bearing. Sucked but glad I fixed it. Runs great just needs to be tuned to get the best HP to the wheels. It still is a load of fun. I will try and get a nice break stand on here soon when I get a chance and more pics!

Re: GEN III C10 Full Air ride build
Forgot I had some pics of my front put together, has the cowl hood which I swapped for a stock hood because I never was a fan of the cowl hood look. Love my new hood and will get some pics of it soon but suck since its purple! Paint will come soon. Also took my phantom grill and made it into a normal billet grill which is my favorite grill setup on these trucks.

Re: GEN III C10 Full Air ride build
If the harness is for that black c10 I am down!! I did work my own harness but with all the help from lt1swap.com This guy has all the information you need to work your own harness if you want to save a 1000 bucks. It takes lots of time but I did it that way because my harness was cut in a couple places and to save money of course. The whole time i was worried about it not being right but it fired right up. Let me know if you have any more questions, since you in AZ that makes it easier. I was at the pavillions last weekend when barrett jackson was here too. Truck was sitting on the ground there for a couple of hours, might start taking it more.

Re: GEN III C10 Full Air ride build
Got the dyno on my ride finally and hit my goal! 304 horses to the wheels!!! Thats out of a baby 4.8l! Sounds mean as hell too! I will try and figure out how to post my dyno sheet. I am horrible when it comes to little crap like that. Now I am sure I can beat any rich kid rolling around in his parents mustang or charger! No offense!
