Pics of 67-72s on air w/o notch
A quick search yielded no results of what i am looking for. I need pics of 67-72 swb fleetsides on air ride with no c-notch, just bags in place of coils. Preferrably with 18-20 combo or 20's all the way around. Please include wheel and tire info as well as air ride setup. Thank you and I would really appreciate it.

Re: Pics of 67-72s on air w/o notch
You sure you had no notch at all in the rear with that picture???
a lot of that is going to hinge on overall tire height as well. Here is a 72 longbed on 17's with a "hat" on the rear bag. it's about an inch from hitting the frame rails w/out the notch.

cool. Looks lower than I thought it would have been. I guess that's when it's sitting right on the frame basically? ( i know you're a "little" lower now )

Re: Pics of 67-72s on air w/o notch
Here is my truck no notch the rear bags are located in the factory spring location. I have 18" wheels on a tire about 28" tall.
Now my two cents... once you get the air bag bug you will never be low enuff and hope to notch mine this winter

Re: Pics of 67-72s on air w/o notch
Thanks very much guys for your input. Cheby I love watching your build progress, it's come quite a long ways since you took those pics! Thanks VA for reminding me about the hats on the rear. I'm going to do what Cheby did and drill the frame. Also on the front I will be cutting the cups on the front brackets, I cant remember now what your supposed to cut them down to though. Firedog your truck is beautiful! Do you have a build thread or more pictures? As far as never being low enough.....A man can only go as low as his budget allows, and for me that aint much. Also Firedog your front end seems way low, you still runnin inner fenders? Thanks again guys for your help!

Re: Pics of 67-72s on air w/o notch
Not all cups on the front NEED to be cut, but the goal is to get the cup to sit flush with the arm.
This was my '69 with no notch in the rear aired out (front has cut cups and drop spindles)

Re: Pics of 67-72s on air w/o notch
thanks for the compliments, there is a thread on here from when i put bags on my truck 2 years ago, the front is without inner fenders and i have chisolm lower control arms with a 2" drop pocket built into them and customized to mount the bags in them, i am not sure which bags i have in the front but they are not very big around and fit completely in the spring pocket along with 3" drop spindles
