Post Poll: 67-68 vs. 69-70 vs. 71-72

Ok, this interesting topic started in another thread about the ignition cylinder

i wanted to create a poll based on the year of your truck.

the question is: does your ignition cylinder have an accessory position --- in other words - will the key in the ignition turn from the off position (12 o'clock) to the left in a couterclockwise direction (to 10'oclock)

i have divided the years into three groups

oops - that last option should say "does NOT" --- i cant seem to ever edit my typos - sry

Jewles...I may have partially figured out what's up.
In the GM papers for standard equipment, the 67 & 68 have no mention of an scc position for the ignition switch. (nor is it listed as an option) In 69 and up to 72, it does list it as standard equipment.
Now I wonder about the 5 '67 & '68 trucks listed in the poll that DO have the acc position.
Any of you 5 ever chainged out your ignition switch from a later truck maybe?

My 67 is so original it's got the original hexagon key and matching door locks tumblers and it has the ACC counterclockwise.

I've never had a truck that would not go counterclockwise to the ACC position, though some were so worn, it would take a lot of friggin with it to make it move. This is form someone who has parted 30 plus trucks and owned about 8 others.
