Shipping Questions
Is UPS or Fed Ex better for shipping parts? I have a grill i will be shipping, and wanted to know which way to go. Also, do either of them make you open your box before they accept it, i have already packed it.
Thanks David

I cant say which is better. I use FE because we have an account with them through work. I have had no problems. They will not make you open the box to ship the parts thogh.

the UPS nazi's here in daytona ALWAYS seem to want to open boxes that i've sealed if i want to insure them !!!! so i've given up selling large things that have to be shipped and just ship with usps

Can't say about Fedex as we don't have such here in Podunk, USA but UPS accepts packages as is. Don't have to open the package. Just has to be a decently wrapped or protected package. I have a tendency to go a bit on the over board side in case the " go-rillas " toss it around to much. I would advise that you wrap/ protect on the over board side also just to insure that when it arrives to the buyer there is not a problem that creates more of a problem. Just my .02 cents for what it is worth. I have not yet shipped a grill, how do you intend to package it? Cardboard box, bubble wrap, or .....?
