Impala rear end with disc

Does anyone know if the rear end and disc brakes will work with the 67-72 trucks?

well. I'll guess as the only read drive disc rear is the 94-96 impala..

ya you can weld on the truck mounts,
but you might want to measure axle flange to axle flange . and see if it's wider or shorter.. as this can affect your wheels.
you'll need driveshaft work also..

fyi
a lot of b body cruisers and taxis (caprice) and some buick wagons .
have these rear disc..

If I remember correctly, the 94-96 impala axle is narrower. Something else to consider is the panhard bar mount that is built in to the 67-70 axles will need to be addressed.

Re: Impala rear end with disc

We had a thread a while back that covered those Impala rears. There were a couple of variants, and at least one of them was a pretty close match for width. It would probably come up on a search if I knew what to search for.
