oke, but still I dont understand. If you want to mount something like this. You's expect mounting holes to be visible from the front. Otherwise he must have used a different mounting syste. If so, I would like to know what. Because it loks great without the mounting holes.

Hope this make my question clear.

Re: late build thread...LOL

he man! I really love your midconsole and the way it curves.

Does your 91 model also have the floor heater in the middle under the dash? if so, what did you do to it when placing/building the mid console?

Re: late build thread...LOL

yea it does, if you look close right below the steering wheel in the pic you can see a little notch that lets the heat out...it is about 6in long and 3/4 in high

alright! thanks man!

That was what I was planning on doing myself, if I start in this idea.

I would really like very much to build something like this, but I have the 4WD-selector in the way. But since I almost never operate this handle, I am considering building a mid-console over it, with a hatch that moves the display away, so the handle can be accessed.

Re: late build thread...LOL

Loving what your doing with it, giving me some crazy ideas for the crew cab/short box project. Keep up the great work. Can't believe I missed this till now...

Any idea what your WMS to WMS is front and rear on this thing? I want to compare with my 1 ton single wheel measurements to see if I can manage a 20x12 in the rear. And skinnys up front.

thanks!!!

Sorry, Wheel Mating Surface to Wheel Mating surface. This is the flat surface that the back of your wheel mates to (surface of drum or rotor).

I know the two versions of the 14 bolt full floaters (3/4 and 1 tons) were either one of two options...67.5 on normal dually and single wheel versions, and 63 on the cab and chassis duallys. Just not sure what the half tons measure.

theres a little more to that theres allso a van axle and a chassis cab axle that are slightly different if i remember correctly

the two sizes on the axelhousings themselves and two types of hubs the combinations give the 4 trackwiths

you do need to change the mounting for the backingplates of the brakes if you mix and match them

http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billav...ble/index.html has a LOT of info on the subject

Re: late build thread...LOL

I thought that too, but I had a few people "set me straight" that there was only the two, I always thought there were three as well. I thought there was one that the front tire of the dually lined up with the outer rear, one that lined up with the center of the rear duallys (mine), and one that the front lined up with the inner (typical dually with box/fenders).

Guess I should be starting a new thread...this one is starting to hijack a little to much....sorry.

Either way I would appreciate the half ton measurements...
