Re: front window seal

Do you mean the center lock strip in the rubber? Those were all chrome from the factory, yours is just browned. Its not like you would say, oh I favor brown and cracked over chrome.

Re: front window seal

Ohhhh my fault, thats cool, lol. I wasn't aware LMC had them in black, need to get their catalog again.

Id run out and take a pic of mine, but I imagine they look like hell too, I'd be half tempted to go with black just to avoid the plastic chrome looking like bad after a few years.

Re: front window seal

I just replaced my windshield seal a few weeks ago with the Black lock strip. Was trying to cut back on some of the chrome on my truck. Looks great with the black.

Re: front window seal

The base models just came with the black strip. The silverados and such had the chrome.

Depends on the application what I would go back with.

Re: front window seal

I got my windshield replaced a few months back and my center strip was "browned" and cracked like yours. the guy convinced me to purchase some chrome replacement strip that he had and its already cracking!!!!! I would go with black. just my opinion .....
