power steering conversion

Just wondering on my 6 cyl why cant i make a bracket to mount the pump and run it with a single belt ( the one that runs the alt/water pump). This way I wont have to find new pullys etc..WIL THIS WORK?

You need to make sure your fan belt stays in contact with all the pulleys enough to not slip on any of them! Especially on your crank pulley because when you use your ps at low speeds that is a lot of force to run the pump!
