Re: CL work horse

dosent say what diesel is in it, but if someone wanted a diesel conversion it may be a great buy just for the frame, engine and running gear.

It looks like it may have been some sort of home built well pump pulling rig. I used to install/service well pumps and we used a rig similar to this, but built MUCH heavier. The one for sale looks to be pretty weak, I wouldn't trust it too much. The truck I used to use could lift somewhere around 6000 lbs, to a height of 35 feet. It was mounted on a 73 f350, then we moved the boom to a 90 f-550. I used it to pull a few engines out of vehicles and it was awesome because you could adjust it front/back, and side/side. I had one junk ranger that we were pulling the engine out of the tranny didn't want to pop loose, so we just picked up the whole frontend of the truck and shook it till it popped loose and dropped the truck to the ground I'll have to see if I have some pictures.

Re: CL work horse

Thanks Jac. It does look a little light duty for that but I don't know what else would use that type of setup.
