Several companies sell it, but it isn't cheap. I'll have to look it up, but last time I checked a complete set of foam for both seats was 500.00

Re: Bucket Seat Parts

I am curious. What is so special about this seat foam that makes it cost so much? Is this seat foam from a special mold, maybe a special material or something? Is it not possible to construct some replacements out of the foam rubber sheets that you can buy from places like Acadamy? Please educate me on this. I seriously doubt an upholsery shop would go out and buy $500 worth of foam rubber to refurbish a set of seats.... but maybe I am wrong.

Re: Bucket Seat Parts

Greg- I don't know "why" its so expensive, just know that it is. It is a high density foam that is molded specifically for the correct shape. I would imagine a competent upholstery shop could repair the foam structure, but thats not what he asked about.

Foam is a petrolium product (oil) and they need a special mold yes. An uph shop can cut foam for them but foam is just expensive. Look it up.

6 inch x 24 inch x 72 inch $94.88 and thats a good price. And it has to be shaped.
