instrument panel conversion
hi i ran in to a problem my truck came with just the 3 gauge instrument panel i wanted to convert it the 7 hole instrument panel the one that hs the temp oil pressure and etc but my question is do i have to change the dash harness or will it just plug up i have a 67 c10

Requires repinning the harness, you can pull the pins out with a thin screwdriver and then reinsert them as shown on Paul's page as mentioned above
If you get a chance to grab the connector for the 7 gauge dash, do so. YOu might need a few extra pins - I needed two, as I recall

You will also have to add two wires for the Battery Gauge since the 3 gauge only has an idiot light, and you will have to re-wire the idiot light wire in order for the alternator to charge.
You might want to start a new thread over in the electrical forum when you get into the swap, since this one will be on the second page by the end of the day and very few will see it.
