Re: Project "Never Again" will I rebuild a perfectly good truck

Some cool mods you are doing.... And I noticed you are working out of your garage/shop? Thus doing all the work yourself?? If so keep up the good work.

Thanks Darren,

All has been done in the garage except for some of the work on the cab. I hired a friend to do the cool windshield mod and floor work due to time restrictions. I have also had alot of help from family, friends and of course the guy's/gals on this forum!

Thought I would add some pics of tires mounted and the one piece windows

Looking good. I'm all too familiar with the "old spiral out of control" ordeal. LOL!!

Re: Project "Never Again" will I rebuild a perfectly good truck

It has been a while since I have updated due to just going through some major surgery. I won't be working on the truck for a while but this forum and the people on it sure make it easier to keep your mind off of a persons medical issues.

I will update some of the pics that have not been added of work I did the month prior to surgery. from there I will just add some pics of components waiting to be installed.

Alway's have to look at the bright side, being off work gives me time to shop for truck parts......lol

Hope all goes well, and do not spend all you time searching for parts, or it will never get done..

Thanks Darren,

It is amazing how the more parts we get the larger the project becomes....

Re: Project "Never Again" will I rebuild a perfectly good truck

It has been a while, so I thought I would show A pic of the wheels installed tonight that my buddies helped me put on. I am sure glad to have friends to help lift truck parts when a guy is all buggered up.

It is nice to see it come together....

Re: Project "Never Again" will I rebuild a perfectly good truck

Next step is to install AccuAir with SS hard lines. Then I will focus on SS brake lines, Fuel system (tank and lines).

Re: Project "Never Again" will I rebuild a perfectly good truck

Thanks for all the compliments guys...

I would also like to let everyone know how impressed I am with Tobin from Kore 3 which is where by brakes originated from. He was very helpful even though I bought the kit off of a forum member. His product come complete with parts list (BOM), Instructions, trial sized locktite and everything needed to do install.

Very Impressed, I would recommend his product to anyone.

I hope you are right Dieselwrencher.... I am looking forward to see how the truck rides/handles with the Porterbuilt frame stiffener system.

Re: Project "Never Again" will I rebuild a perfectly good truck

Hey guy's how come nobody told me?????lol

I was sitting in my lawn chair contemplating my truck project and staring at my wheels and tires, what do I see? I was so excited about mounting them that we put the back ones on the wrong sides. If you look the tread it is going the wrong direction. They are only there for mock up and to take a couple pics anyway...lol

I noticed, but didn't want to be a d!ck and bust you out. Like you said, its for mock up only, so it really doesn't matter much! btw, nice work so far!
