Newer chevy transmission & transfer case in a 71 4x4?
Is there a build thread of someone putting a 6.0, transmission, and transfer case out of a 2000 and up 2500 siveraldo truck in a 67 to 72 chevy 4x4?

It could be done, but the front axle would need to be a passenger side drive, like on Fords.I read your other thread about modernizing an original 4wd.Have you seen these bodies put on newer frames?
