question about patch panels

ok, i'm about to start replacing the patch panels on my cab, and am curious about this: i've been to a couple of the vendor's sites and they specify right or left for the patch panels. which is which? i'm used to driver's side and passenger's side, but couldn't tell you left or right. any help?

Right or left is from drivers seat...so drivers side is left, passenger side is right
