receiver hitch with underbed spare, shortbed?

Does anyone have both mounted on a shortbed truck - I have u-haul receiver hitch frame-mounted, mounting the spare bracket is next on my list, wondering if there might be space problems?

I have a frame mountes hitch on mine. I didnt think about putting the spare there. It looks like a tight fit to me. I will look at that again to see if it would work.

Re: receiver hitch with underbed spare, shortbed?

I have a DrawTite receiver hitch on my 64 C10 shortbed, and I do have a spare mounted in the stock location, although my spare is not quite as large as the four tires I have on the ground, and it is still a tight fit.

I don't have the model number of the hitch I have, it was installed many years ago when I bought the truck, but the modifications required to mount it to my truck were slight...basically a couple of new holes drilled in the frame rails.

That's what I was thinking (hoping) without having measured yet. I have a 235/75/15 spare, may have to get a smaller tire just to mount it underneath.
Thanks for the replies, guys.
