Rust reversal

Anybody ever tried JASCO Prep and Paint. Supposed to neutralize rust. Basically phosphoric acid. Does this type of product work pretty well. You are supposed to be able to paint over it. Just wondering if any body used this and had the rust still spread.

We had something similar in the Navy, we called it Vactan. It worked good, paint it on, let it dry and paint over it!

I used stuff called rust converter, made by plasti-kote, says stops rust on contact and converts it to an iron hard paintable surface, it kind of looked to me like it just seals it with kind of of rubbery coating, I asked at a body shop once if they ever heard of this stuff, and they hadn't, maybe it's for the do it yourselfer.better than nothing on a quick patch up, naval-gel is another one that does the same thing
